The solution we provided attracted a large number of guests who were visibly entertained by the technology, and the campaign saw guests really engaging with the Android brand.

Taking the centre stage, YrMoves gave party-goers the opportunity to show off their best moves to the whole club, with the help of two plasma screen stacks on either side displaying their avatars for the whole crowd to see.

The customisable YrMoves dance cube conjures up an intensely atmospheric disco scene, complete with the latest LED moving head lights, smoke and strobe effects. The system mashes this together with an augmented reality dance game, delivering every night with a fully-immersive user experience like none other.

Interactive technology is now an essential tool within an industry which is constantly innovating and adapting in order to engage with audiences. The drinks brand have had impressive success engaging with their audiences through their implementation of our pioneering experiential technology. This is a great example of how interactive technology is a vital tool for companies and brands to engage with their target audiences at events.

The 3 YrSurfaces, which were customised with a fully festive winter themed background, were the main attraction among a variety of fun activities for the kids.

Once the kids had finished having fun with the afternoon activities, they then moved on to a hotel where they were treated with dinner and presents.

The event was full of festive spirit and really brought plenty of Christmas cheer to the children – all of whom had a visibly wonderful time thanks to the generosity and kindness of the host.

For the NEC event Luma worked closely with WRG and their client, EE, on designing five interactive areas. These included:

• An interactive floor, showcasing the new brand’s ‘particle’ look and feel
• A dance zone – allowing six dancers to interact with famous movie scenes through a Luma custom designed and built game
• A pledge wall – based on the YrWall digital graffiti wall but highly customised
• A particle wall – a fun and creative way to show off EE’s high-speed capabilities
• Brand values zone – brand new digital mirrors come alive when guests’ walked near them, showcasing the brand values

The YrWall digital graffiti wall was used to collect employees’ pledges on how to bring the brand values to life. These were then printed live onto branded postcards as an employee take-away, as well as being posted on the internal company internet site.

At the NEC the custom dance experience was a global first – a custom built application using two seamlessly blended Microsoft Kinect cameras to track up to six dancers movements. This was combined with music and video to bring a totally immersive dance experience for the 10,000 visitors.

The interactive floor and particle wall were also incredibly well received – the technology all written and designed by our in-house tech team really showed off what was possible when you combine cutting edge technology and superfast mobile broadband.

We supplied a build-your-own Android character bag printing feature proving very popular amongst the Berlin Googlers.

The Luma Motion Mirror also made a return appearance this time with a brand new Dance Battle mode. Guests battled to be king of the Android Disco with some of the wildest moves we’ve seen.

Androidify Motion Mirror at Cannes Lions 2012The application featured the dancer as their own Android avatar, mirroring their moves as they danced. Dancers had to power up the interactive “Funk O’meter” by throwing bigger and crazier dance moves. Once the meter hits the top, the Android disco turned into a complete funk-down as the lights drop and lightning bolts shot from the avatar’s limbs.

Sponsored by Jaguar, Clerkenwell Design Week presents an abundance of design and architecture talent. The three day festival brings together a number of events including product launches, parties, auctions and workshops.

We had the pleasure of working with leading UK based supplier and manufacturer, Altro. They required a fun and interactive way to draw passing design enthusiasts onto their exhibition area.

The YrWall provided just this. Not only were guests given the chance to demonstrate their design skills in full; they were then given the opportunity to take their creations home in the form of a freshly printed souvenir.

The “design-your-own mugs” turned out to be a huge success with many of the guests opting for a British theme, clearly influenced by the fast approaching Diamond Jubilee and 2012 Games.

The launch of Cinnamon Soho was swiftly followed by a Tweet, Meet and Eat party held at their sister restaurant Cinnamon Kitchen.
